Funding is the lifeblood of research. Research funding comes from a variety of sources:

• Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC)
• Other UK Research and Innovation councils
• Industry, especially ARM, which is based nearby
• Government
• Charitable organizations
  • These typically come through CUDAR, the University’s development and alumni office

Despite Brexit, European funding, especially through the Horizon Europe Programme is still available.
