Cambridge has three shopping centres, The Grafton, Lion Yard and Grand Arcade all offering visitors a mix of retail and leisure options. The historic core and cobbled streets are home to many independent boutiques and several outstanding bookstores. More here.

There are several grocery store chains. At the cheaper end, Aldi, Lidl, Iceland, and Tesco have stores at the eastern end of town. Sainsbury’s and Tesco have convenience stores in the heart of town and bigger stores elsewhere. At the high end, Waitrose has a huge store in the southern end of town.
